The first Express Training PubMed class of 2012 is tomorrow, Thursday, January 26th at noon in the LHL Classroom.  If that time doesn’t work for you or you’d rather attend from home, we are offering it as an online class on Monday, January 30th at 3 pm.    No need to register for the in-person class, but do sign up for the online class to receive login information.   Learn more about Express Training opportunities from the Guide or from the Events page.

You asked and we listened!  A couple of you suggested we get a Keurig coffeemaker for students to use while visiting the library, so you can now find one of these easy-to-use coffeemakers near the Test Prep and School Collections books.  Just bring your favorite k-cup and mug to enjoy hot, fresh coffee without having to the brave the construction areas.

As you move through the Cardiology module you might want to check out CardioSource, an online tool for cardiology education.  It includes Heart Songs for Institutions where you can listen to or download different cardiac sounds.  They do require individual registration though.  This video will show you how to get in and find Heart Songs.  Let me know if you have any problems with access.
