Exam Master USMLE Step 2 Practice Exam

Exam Master now has a new USMLE practice exam.

Based on the NBME blueprint, this USMLE Step 2 Practice Exam is designed to give you a realistic, computer based exam experience.  You can sit for a full exam, or take each block individually. All blocks include post-exam review and detailed explanations.

It includes 8 exam blocks of 44 questions each on the following topics: General Principles,  Immunologic Disorders, Diseases of the Blood & Blood-forming Organs, Mental Disorders, Diseases of the Nervous System & Special Senses, Cardiovascular Disorders, Diseases of the Respiratory System, Nutritional & Digestive Disorders, Gynecologic Disorders, Renal, Urinary, & Male Reproductive Systems, Disorders of Pregnancy, Childbirth, & the Puerperium, Disorders of the Skin & Subcutaneous Tissues, Diseases of the Musculoskeletal System & Connective Tissue, and Endocrine & Metabolic Disorders.

To access this exam, create (or log into) an account in Exam Master then go to NEW EXAMS, > Click “Courses” > Click “Select” next to USMLE 2 Practice Exam. Other online test/study tools are located on the LHL Databases and Resources page.

Another New Collection: Test Prep Materials

Historically we have not collected test prep materials but as a response to your requests we have developed a small collection of materials designed to help you study for tests and boards.  The materials are located on the shelves just past the HUB on the right and are meant to be used in the library.  Please browse through these materials and let us know what you think.

Textbooks move from Reserve to School Collection

The books set aside for you at LHL no longer have to be retrieved by staff members.  To make them more accessible to you we’ve created a SOM School Collection and put all your textbooks on the shelves to right after you pass the HUB.  To ensure equal access to the titles, they can’t be taken from the library but you can use them anywhere in the building.  Please return them to the nearby book truck so we can track the usage before we reshelve them.  Use the link above to see the list of titles.  Let us know what you think of this new arrangement.
